French Door & Sliding Glass Door Replacement and Installation

French doors and sliding glass doors do more than provide access to your patio, deck, or backyard. They help bring natural light into your home and create a more open, inviting living space.

When these doors become difficult to operate, develop drafts, or show signs of wear, it's something you notice every day. What should be a simple transition between indoors and outdoors becomes a constant frustration.

Whether you're replacing an outdated sliding glass door or upgrading to a new set of French doors, a properly installed door can improve comfort, functionality, and the overall appearance of your home.

Your Door Replacement Should Come with Peace of Mind

Here's What We Do Differently

Large glass doors require careful installation to ensure smooth operation, proper sealing, and long-term performance.

When we evaluate a French door or sliding glass door replacement, we're looking at the entire opening - not just the door itself. Proper fit, insulation, trim work, and finishing details all play a role in how the finished project looks and performs.

When the project is complete, you should be able to enjoy the view, the natural light, and easy access to your outdoor space without worrying about drafts, sticking doors, or unfinished details.

Our Process

Our Door Replacement and Installation Process

Step 1: No-Pressure Consultation

An experienced technician comes out, looks at your existing door and frame, takes measurements, and talks you through your options. We're not here to upsell you; we're here to help you make the right call for your home. Plus, most consultations are done in under an hour.

Step 2: Custom Order & Timeline

Every door is custom-ordered to fit your home, with a lead time of 4–6 weeks. We'll keep you in the loop when it's ordered, when it ships, and when we can get you on the schedule.

Step 3: Installation & Finish Work

We protect your floors and landscaping before we start. The old door comes out, we inspect the frame and opening for any damage or rot, and your new door goes in — sealed, insulated, and level. Then we trim inside and out, touch up paint, clean up completely, and walk through the finished work with you.

When Should You Replace Your French or Sliding Glass Door?

Most homeowners know when these doors stop performing the way they should.

Common signs it may be time for replacement include:

  • Difficulty opening or closing the door
  • Damaged rollers, tracks, or hardware
  • Drafts around the frame
  • Condensation between glass panes
  • Water intrusion during heavy rain
  • Locks that no longer function properly
  • Visible deterioration or damage

Replacing an aging French door or sliding glass door can improve comfort, efficiency, security, and everyday usability while helping you enjoy your home and outdoor spaces even more.
